Spoonerific

It is a moral dilemma for me each time I use the public restroom at work. I do my business, straighten my uniform, then proceed to wash my hands. It is in the drying of my hands that this predicament arises.

See, we have both paper towels and those hot air hand dryers. Everytime, no matter what, I think: well, I shall either contribute to the killing of precious rainforests and trees everywhere or agree with Bush and his raping of the Alaskan wilderness for oil when I use the electric dryer. It's not as though I don't waste paper and electricity elsewhere. It is just in this bathroom.

You know what else? The toilets are motion sensored. How lazy can you get? They're always going off for no reason, too, like, if you move the slightest bit.

So we waste water, too.

Argosy Casino: Pillagers of the Free World.

Sorry I haven't been very devoted. The internet in my house has been quite tenuous these last few days, so I finally cracked and signed up for a free month of Earthlink. Hopefully we will have AOL back by then and I won't have to pay anything.

Watched A.I. and O whilst I was not updating. A.I., while enjoyable, was not very consistent. I remember reading an article a few months ago about it, and in it they said that the differences between Kubrick and Spielberg were more than evident throughout, and it was indeed so. It was very dark for about the first hour, and then after that it was Kubrick with patches of Spielberg thrown in, as well as a totally mushy Spielberg ending.

O was a Shakespearian tragedy, alright. As per usual, good old Will knocked off as many people at the very end as he could conceivably get away with. Josh Hartnett played a morbidly alluring sociopathic Hugo, so three cheers for him.

Mmmm, Josh Hartnett...

I loved him in The Faculty, too. The movie itself was quite predictable, but he played a lovely stoner. Hell, I would've dated him.

Had boys like that even looked my direction.

Correction: Had boys looked my direction.

Speaking of boys, a certain someone will be in the same building with me tomorrow. Will I smile? Will I say hello? Will I try my damndest to look cute and more importantly interesting?

Not that it will do me any good.

Damn me and my pessimism.

By the way, the lyrics to the song I am entering for that contest are up. I'd appreciate it if anyone would read them and subsequently tell me how stupid they are.

Gee, thanks!
